  Laser marking machine is different from the general light sources, its characteristics are monochromatic, coherent light strength, orientation, etc. Laser marking machines of three properties do not exist in isolation, but have a deep internal connection between them.

1. Monochromatic 

  If the smaller the spectral line width of the laser marking machine, the purest the color, the more obvious the effect of the marking is, and the better the monochromatic. The monochromatic play with a laser scaler is very high, which almost completely eliminates the dispersion effect of the focusing lens, allowing the beam to accurately focus, and obtain a very high power density.

2. Strong coherent light

  The correlation is mainly used to describe lamps in laser scalers, laser processed lamps having 1064 μ m,355μ m, etc. The coherence of the laser can be divided into time coherence and spatial coherence. In practice, laser scalers often use time coherence to describe laser time coherence, i. e., phase relations between each point in the direction of beam propagation. Typically, the narrower the spectral line width, the higher the monochroism, and the longer the coherence time. In the plane of the vertical propagation direction, spatial coherence is a bit relationship between points, which refers to the scale of the beam emitted light together somewhere in space, can form interference phenomena, with spatial coherence related to the size of the source. To improve spatial correlation, its working moduli should be limited, secondly the cavity type should be selected reasonably, and the initiative of the beam should be improved by increasing the cavity length.

3. Direction

  In general, laser marking machines propagate axially, while the beam divergence angle is very small, the principle is that the smaller the beam divergence angle, the greater the directionality, and the high directionality of the laser marking machine mainly depends on the excitation mechanism and the limitation of the optical resonator on the oscillating beam direction. The laser marking machine has the advantages of good direction, long transmission distance, high focus performance and high power density, which can be used for product marking processing.
